Card Motor Controller Controller Setting Software for LATCA （ For Windows®7 ） Connect the communication cable LEC-W2A-C to the USB port of the PC using the USB cable (LEC-W2-U). The message shown below will appear, as the driver has not yet been installed. iii. Open the Windows Start menu, right-click on Computer, select Properties and thereafter Device Manager.
Connect the communication cable LEC-W2A-C to the USB port of the PC using the USB cable (LEC-W2-U). ii. Right-click the Start menu, and select "Device Manager". Right-click 7 - iii. The COM No. is shown next to the "SMC Serial Port" in the "Ports (COM&LPT)". (In the case of the lower figure, the COM No. is "3".)
Connect the communication cable LEC-W2A-C to the USB port of the PC using the USB cable (LEC-W2-U). ii. Right click the Windows logo at the lower left of the desk top, and select Device manager. iii. Check the COM number for the RS485 communication from the Ports (COM & LPT) device SMC Serial Port. In this example it is shown as COM8.
As for the old communication cable (LEC-W2-C), installing a driver for Window 8.1 on a Windows 10 PC may be possible, but operation is not guaranteed.
