If necessary, you can also combine the basic MY1 cylinder with an external guide in order to create a special engineered solution. Piping options can be selected according to the application. MY1 is available in 9 bore sizes from 16mm to 100mm.

The solution for a linear-actuator subject to high loads. Ideal for material handling applications. Two basic models include a self-lubricating slide bushing and a linear ball bearing style. The 100mm slide bushing model can stop a load of 3,000 lbs. traveling at 55ft/min, or smoothly lift a centered load of 1,000 lbs. with a 40% safety factor.

A double piston mechanism provides a large amount of gripping force, while maintaining a compact design. The MHC series has a built in speed adjustment and a recessed groove for auto switches.

A wear ring extends the seal life and a bronze rod bushing is standard on all bore sizes. The NCM is available in 4 mounting styles * as well as double rod and spring return or spring extend models. The NCM is auto-switch capable without any change in cylinder dimension. Bore sizes range from 7/16in. to 2in. and standard strokes from 1/2in. to 12in..

SMC has redesigned the CQ2 compact cylinder with a new body, making it possible to mount auto switches on any of the 4 surfaces, depending on the installation conditions.

The new style MGP has a shorter guide rod and thinner plate resulting in a weight reduction of up to 17% over the original MGP.  The series is designed for high side load applications found in material handling, lifting and stopping.
