SMC has redesigned the CQ2 compact cylinder with a new body, making it possible to mount auto switches on any of the 4 surfaces, depending on the installation conditions.
The new style MGP has a shorter guide rod and thinner plate resulting in a weight reduction of up to 17% over the original MGP. The series is designed for high side load applications found in material handling, lifting and stopping. The cylinder utilizes an ultra-compact design by incorporating the cylinder body as part of the guide body.
It combines the functions of a conventional cylinder, linear motion guide, and non-rotation device. Features include built-in shock absorbers, finite stroke adjustment, bumpers, and switch capability. Other features include: Slide or ball bushing bearings available, built-in shock absorbers and stroke adjustments, high degree of non-rotating accuracy, and high load capabilities.
Series CG1 precision air cylinder has 8 bore sizes and can meet any application need. The tube is impact extruded aluminum to produce an extraordinarily smooth finish, allow low break-away pressure and smooth stroke action. Eight mounting options are available. Auto switch capable.
