Basic type cylinders with end lock prevent dropping when air supply decreases or residual pressure is exhausted. Separate air piping is not required for locking. The clean room version adds a relief port in the rod cover section to provide a way to remove contaminants. The clean series CQS offers standard strokes up to 50mm.
