The PE port is used to exhaust the air pressure used for the internal pilot. A small amount of air is exhausted when switching. Do not block this port as doing so may lead to a malfunction. Install a silencer if you are concerned about the noise. (There may be a PE port even when the pilot valve’s exhaust is collectively exhausted, such as with the new SY series.)
The PE port is an exhaust port for external pilot air. Air can be exhausted as is or by connecting a tube. When installing a silencer with a One-touch fitting, use a reducer fitting to increase the port size of the One-touch fitting. (Note: The valve will not switch if the PE port is plugged.)
