Direct operated poppet type VT307, VT317, and VT325 series valves do not have the flow path directionality of 3-way valves.
Therefore, they can be used as selector valves or as divider valves.
Note) When using different pressures, use within the specified pressure range of the product.
Do not use coils for DC in valves whose rated voltage is AC, and vice versa.
Note) The “VO317” part number indicates that the valve is for use in a manifold.
The series part number is “VT317.” The VT317 (VO317) series catalog can be found here.
Unfortunately, old VM100/200 series valves do not have their full part numbers on the product label.
Refer to the web catalog for the full part numbers to order a new VM series valve. (The VM/VZM/VFM series catalog can be found here.)
CA2 series cylinders do not have a magnet mounted on the piston. Therefore, even if an auto switch is mounted, it will not be operable. Use the part number “CDA2B50-100Z” for the cylinder with an auto switch magnet.
The brackets are shipped together with the product but do not come assembled.
As before, brackets can also be ordered separately if needed.
Note) Part numbers that include brackets are not applicable to the following cylinders: the double rod type, the clean series type, and special order products (XA∗), “-XB7,” “-XB12,” “-XC10,” “-XC27,” and “-XC29.”
Note) CQ2 series mounting brackets are shipped together with the product but do not come assembled.
(The nut that comes with the replacement shock absorber is too large, so do not use it.)
③ The replacement seal kit part numbers (which include a grease pack) are listed in the “Construction” section in the MGG series catalog. Note that the seal kits of new basic cylinders are not interchangeable with those of old basic cylinders.
Do not forget to reset the knob when restarting operation.
MGP series catalog can be found here.
Note 2) Bore sizes ø80 and ø100 do not have trunnion holes.
If you do not want to use brackets, you can select either option.
However, if a trunnion bracket may be used later, select symbol “Z” (with trunnion mounting female thread).
Note 1) Do not disassemble the shaft trunnion type because assembly accuracy is required.
Note 2) MB series seal kits come with a grease pack.
③ Do not position the port facing vertically downward.
④ Keep the piping as short as possible with minimal bending.
Note 1) When used as a single-side hydro unit, air may be mixed in with the operating oil. Consider periodic checks and air bleeding or changing to use as a double-side hydro unit.
No, we do not offer any explosion-proof auto switches.
However, depending on the contact signal converter (commonly known as a barrier relay), which are sold by various manufacturers of electrical control equipment, an SMC auto switch may be usable in combination.
Reed auto switches do not respond due to the magnetic force of the magnet. While reed auto switches may respond to some models, the response is too unreliable for use. Therefore, an air gripper with a larger hysteresis than a solid state auto switch and a shorter piston stroke cannot be used with a reed auto switch for reliable detection.
Note 1) Do not adjust to ±5° or more at the rotation end. This may interfere with the operation of the product.
Note 2) Even if the rotation angle is adjusted to ±5°, adjustment of the auto switch for detecting rotation is not necessary.
If you do not plan to configure the emergency stop circuitry as described above, you can use the same power supply for the control power supply (C 24 V) and the motor power supply (M 24 V).
When moving by hand, do not connect the actuator cable to the controller’s CN2 (motor connector).
Use an AREA signal to do this. The AREA signal turns ON when the current position is within the AREA1 to AREA2 range.
AREA1 and AREA2 can be set for each step.
This conversion cable is a dedicated cable; do not use other commercially available products.
Note 1) Controller setting kit: A conversion cable (P5062-5) is not required for the JXC-W2.
Note 2) Controller setting kit: A conversion cable (P5062-5) is required for the LEC-W2. The JXC91/JXCD1/JXCE1/JXCP1 series catalogs can be found
