Air cylinder series CA2 has been introduced with specifications and dimensions equivalent to the existing CA1 series. Several improvements have been made to the CA2 series including lateral load improvement, increase in cushioning capacity and adoption of a new cushion seal. There has been enhanced efficiency in handling for cushion valve adjustment, and weight has been reduced by 5 to 15%

Clean SMC's room versions of series CA2.  Available om both relief port and vacuum port type.  The CA2 can be ordered with rod end or rear pivot brackets.  The CA2 is available in a large variety of options that will make them suitable for many different applications.  A variety of auto switches are available for mounting, including compact switches and magnetic field resistant switches.

The tube is impact extruded aluminum to produce an extraordinarily smooth finish, allow low break-away pressure and smooth stroke action. Various mounting bracket options are available. Female piston rod threads are available as a standard option. Auto switch capable. Double acting single rod ; Bore sizes

Series 10/11-C(D)G1, available for clean environment, prevent particle generation in a clean room. Series 21/22-C(D)G1 offers the same structure as the clean series, and are for the environment in which the use of copper, fluorine and silicon are restricted. The CG1 clean series is auto switch capable.
