The operating range of RS(D)Q□32/40/50 series lever type stopper cylinders with a built-in shock absorber varies depending on the conveyor friction coefficient (μ). Contact your local SMC sales office for the data including friction coefficients of μ = 0.2 and μ = 0.3.

Since the outer diameter of the lever of RS(D)Q□32/40/50 series lever type stopper cylinders with a built-in shock absorber is larger than that of the rod cover boss, machine the mounting hole to the recommended hole diameter shown below.
※The outer diameter of the lever is larger than that of the rod cover boss part for both the fixed absorber type and the adjustable absorber type.

Old CG1□Q series cylinders had directional low-friction operation due to the seal shape, which required the indication of the direction in the part number. CG1Y-Z series smooth cylinders have bi-directional low-friction operation as standard.
The mounting dimensions of CG1Q and CG1Y-Z series products are the same.

It is recommended that MB□Q series low-friction air cylinders be switched to an MB□□Y.
If a product with the special order part number suffix “-XC6” (made of stainless steel) is required, select the “-XC68” (made of stainless steel (with hard chrome plated piston rod)) instead.
