<br>Enter the required dimensions into the “Simple Special Order Specification Form” and submit it to your local SMC sales office. <br>They will assign a Simple Specials part number according to the specifications and will inform you of the Simple Specials order number via a commerce company. Please order using this Simple Specials order number.

<br>In addition, an MGPS series heavy-duty guide rod type compact guide cylinder is available for bore sizes ø50 and ø80 (and can be used as a stopper for strokes up to 50 mm). <br><br>

<br>The solenoid valve part number is “VO307-□□1,” but for the old model, it is “VO301-00□□.” (The “□□” are for indicating the voltage and electrical entry.) Note that the conduit type has been discontinued but that the solenoid valve remains interchangeable with both old and new types.<br><br>

<br>The other 2-digit or 4-digit number on a reed auto switch indicates the production lot.<br>Ex.) “39” means it was manufactured in September 2003 or September 2013. The “3” represents the last digit of the year, and the next digit represents the month.<br>Note) The production lot of solid state auto switches is indicated in letters.

<br>However, the D-M9□ series auto switch will be shipped together with the product but not mounted to the cylinder.<br>In addition, commercially available set screws cannot be used to mount a BM8 type auto switch mounting band because their shapes differ.<br>The set screw for the BM8 is designed to prevent deformation of the cylinder tube.

<br>For the 2-finger type: the MHZAJ2-6, MHZJ2, MHK2 series, and the MHZL2-X6110. <br>For the 3-finger type: the MHSJ3 series (which can be found in the MHS3 series web catalog). <br>The material of the dust cover can be selected, and depending on the series, special order specifications such as dust cover adhesion and caulking are also available.

<br>Check this when connecting the communication unit. When “Normal” or “Easy” is started, the controller setting software automatically checks the connected controller. <br>However, communication cannot be performed if the communication setting of the COM port number is different.

<br>If you want to change the corresponding actuators, you must reset these specific parameters. <br>The setting of these parameters must be performed at one of our factories in order to prevent problems from occurring. <br>Contact your local SMC sales representative to put in a request for repair.

<br><br>Example: Positioning operation, operation method ABS, step no. 1 = 50 mm, step no. 2 = 0 mm <br>The actuator moves forward by instructing step no. 1 to operate, and if step no. 2 is instructed to operate before completion, it will retract and stop at the position of 0 mm.

<br>It operates according to the position and speed data from the master PLC instead of using step data that has been edited (rewritten) beforehand using a PC or teaching box.<br><br>
