SMC's series VXK21/22/23, 2-port solenoid valve was designed with a Y type strainer installed inside the body to remove foreign materials mixed in fluids before they enter the actuating part of the valve (armature), as well as preventing the flow of foreign materials to downstream equipment. SMC has developed the VXE series energy saving type, 2 port solenoid valve to help with environmental issues. The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) method was used to allow for less power consumption. By reducing the energy consumption we have also reduced the heat produced by the coil. This series is available in three styles VXE directed operated, VXED pilot operated, and VXEZ zero differential
