The mechanically jointed rodless cylinders leaks air externally due to its seal construction. With a closed center valve, stop positions cannot be held due to the air leakage. To perform intermediate stops, use 2 3-way valves for double-sided pressurization or use a 3-position pressure center valve as a double-sided pressurization control circuit.
