SMC has developed the VXE series energy saving type, 2 port solenoid valve to help with environmental issues.  The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) method was used to allow for less power consumption.  By reducing the energy consumption we have also reduced the heat produced by the coil. This series is available in three styles VXE directed operated, VXED pilot operated, and VXEZ zero differential

Direct air operated, 2 and 3 port valve series VXA can be used with a wide variety of fluids. The manifold for the VXA21/22 series is available in a common SUP style or individual SUP style (for vacuum use). The VXA31/32 series manifold is individual ported.
