The max. piston speed of CEP1 series cylinders is 300 mm/s, and the max. piston speed of CE1 series cylinders is 500 mm/s. If the cylinder speed is too fast, a counting error may occur. This can be prevented by mounting a speed controller before use.
Note 1) Be aware that the speed can increase temporarily due to bounding or knocking.


However, transmission up to 200 m is possible by using a transmission box (part number “CE1-0374”).
When using a transmission box, leave a maximum of 5 m between the stroke reading cylinder and the transmission box and between the counter and the transmission box.
Use shielded twisted-pair wiring (wire diameter 24 AWG or more) to connect the middle part.

Series CEU5, multi counter was developed to work with CEP1 or CE1 high precision, stroke reading cylinders. CEU5 utilizes a RS-232C communication system which allows multiple counters to be linked together (each counter has a unique address, 1-99.
