Non-locking push type must be pressed in the direction of the arrow. The locking type must be turned in the direction of the arrow.
Be sure air is supplied to side of cylinder without the locking mechanism, as above, prior to supplying air pressure to the side with end lock or lock may not be released. (Refer to Release of lock.)

If it is pulled off at an angle, the pilot valve may be damaged or the protective Oring may be scratched.
Auto switches can also be mounted. It can be installed with auto switches to simplify the detection of the stroke position of the cylinder.
