A high rigidity, slider type electric actuator, series LEJ is available in both ball screw, LEJS, and belt drive, LEJB models.  The LEJ offers 2 types of motor cables, standard and robotic (flexible).  Seal bands, equipped as standard, cover the guide preventing grease from splashing, and external foreign matter from entering.  LEJS (ball screw drive) can be used for both horizontal and

The 11-LEJS is the clean room version of SMC's LEJS ball screw slider.  A built-in vacuum port is used to draw off particles generated by the ball screw and guide to achieve the ISO Class 4 standard.  This model is fitted with an AC servo motor with incremental or absolute encoder.  Optional drivers include pulse input and various communication protocols including Ethernet.

L : Stroke [mm] V : Speed [mm/s] a1: Acceleration [mm/s2] a2: Deceleration [mm/s2] T1 and T3 can be obtained by the following equation. T1 = V/a1 = 300/3000 = 0.1 [s], T1 = V/a1 [s] T3 = V/a2 [s] T3 = V/a2 = 300/3000 = 0.1 [s] The acceleration and deceleration values have upper limits depending on the workpiece mass and the duty ratio.

T2 = T1 T2 T3 T4 200 0.5 300 (0.1 + 0.1) 300 = L : Stroke [mm] (Operating condition) V : Speed [mm/s] (Operating condition) a1: Acceleration [mm/s2] (Operating condition) a2: Deceleration [mm/s2] (Operating condition) T1 = V/a1 [s] T3 = V/a2 [s] = 0.57 [s] T4 = 0.05 [s] T2: Constant speed time can be found from the following equation.

T1 = V/a1 = 300/5000 = 0.06 [s], T3 = V/a2 = 300/5000 = 0.06 [s] T2 = = = 0.94 [s] L 0.5 V (T1 + T3) V 300 0.5 300 (0.06 + 0.06) 300 T4 = 0.05 [s] Therefore, the cycle time can be obtained as follows.
